So how do you find your Business Niche, I have narrowed it down into a six step process to help you figure it out, we will begin with:

  • Self-Reflection: What are your interests, passions, and skills? Reflect on the creative projects that have excited you the most and brought you the most satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Explore your creative industry to identify gaps or underserved segments. What needs or desires are not being met? Your niche might lie in addressing these gaps.
  • Define Your Ideal Client: Who do you want to create for? Create a detailed profile of your ideal client, including demographics, interests, and pain points. Understanding your audience helps you cater to their needs.
  • Experimentation: start experimenting with different niches, start with small projects or side gigs to test the waters. This experimentation can help you discover what truly resonates with you and your audience.
  • Feedback Loop: Engage with your audience and seek feedback. They can provide valuable insights into what they like about your work and what could be improved. This feedback can guide your niche selection.
