Yet, many of us struggle to price their offers, often shrinking their value to fit people’s wallets instead of standing firm in the value they have been called to create. Here is the thing people pay for what they perceive as valuable. They will drop $1,000 on a phone, $500 on shoes or those overpriced polyester designer shirts not because of the price tag, but because of the perceived worth. When you lead with integrity, transformation, and excellence, the right people will recognize and invest in that value.
By taking this approach, you are not only honoring your time and talent, but you are also creating an opportunity for others to invest in themselves through your guidance, your expertise, and your ability to help them transform. Now let’s talk pricing models. There is no one-size-fits-all, but the key is to price with profit and purpose. Consider these:
- Value-Based Pricing: Price according to the transformation or result your offer provides. If it saves time, relieves pain, or accelerates growth, then charge for that outcome.
- Tiered Pricing: Offer 2-3 pricing tiers for different levels of access or support. This gives your audience choice while allowing you to serve multiple levels of need and investment.
- Introductory + Premium: this is where you start with an accessible base offer, then have a premium upsell with deeper access, coaching, or VIP bonuses.
A simple formula to start with:
Cost of delivery + Desired profit margin + Value of transformation = Final price.
Don’t forget to account for taxes, platform fees, your time, and reinvestment. Above all, invite God into your pricing process. Ask: What is this worth in the marketplace? What do I need to earn to sustain and scale this assignment? Trust that He is not only your Provider, but your Business Strategist, too. Your money moves the kingdom, pricing is not a one-time decision. Stay flexible and responsive to ensure that your pricing remains competitive and aligned with the value you provide.
