The 7 steps that I took to find My Sweet Spot as a Multi-Passionate Creator and build the business that I love online

As a multi-passionate creator with a range of interests and talents, finding my true calling has been both a journey of discovery and a process of self-refinement. Over the years, I have worked in various fields, from business coaching to entrepreneurship, and one thing has remained constant is my passion of empowering creative entrepreneurs to build thriving businesses. But how did I reach this stage? How did I go from juggling multiple interests and ideas to building a focused, successful platform that serves my ideal audience? In this post, I am sharing how I found my sweet spot as a multi-passionate creator and how you can too.

1. I FIGURED OUT MY INTELLIGENCE TYPES

One of the first steps in finding my true calling was recognizing the types of intelligence I naturally excel at. Growing up, I always had a mix of analytical and creative strengths, and it took me some time to realize how to best combine these. By learning more about multiple intelligence theories, I understood that I didn’t have to be just one thing, I could embrace both my logical and creative sides to carve out a unique path.

I took the time to explore Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences, which goes beyond traditional IQ measures. Gardner suggests that there are various types of intelligences, including linguistic, spatial, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical, bodily kinesthetic, naturalistic, existential and logical-mathematical in no particular order. For me, it was a blend of linguistic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal intelligence that fueled my ability to communicate effectively through content creation, blogging, and coaching.

By tapping into my creative intelligence, I allowed myself to create in ways that felt natural. I channeled my ability to strategize, problem-solve, and communicate complex ideas into helping other entrepreneurs build their businesses. This led me to explore e-Commerce coaching as a core focus, where I could apply both my logical skills in structuring businesses and my creative abilities in storytelling, branding, and visual communication in creating my digital offers.

2. I HONORED MY SENSIBILITIES AS A FEMININE CREATOR

In the early stages of my career, I noticed that many of the business models and the career choice that I was drawn to followed a more masculine approach, focused on aggression, domination, and efficiency. However, that never resonated with me and to be quite honest I didn’t know any better, I took every opportunity that was presented to me. Now I know that I thrive in environments that prioritize intuition, collaboration, and empathy, which are often associated with a more feminine energy. I was further emphasized when I build my beauty brand and what became apparent is that I loved the creative side not so much the financial and marketing side of the business.

For a while, I felt conflicted, wondering if I needed to adapt to a more masculine business approach to succeed. But the more I honored my own sensibilities as a feminine creator, the more everything started falling into place. I embraced the fact that I was a different kind of entrepreneur, one who values emotional intelligence, creative business, and empathetic communication. These traits became integral to my brand and approach as I build my solo business.

I began to build my business strategies around these values, which included taking a more empathetic approach when working with clients, focusing on collaboration over competition, and finding ways to weave storytelling into my branding and content creation processes. This mindset shift allowed me to build a business model that was authentic to who I am and to serve my audience in a way that felt deeply fulfilling.

As a feminine creator, I have also leaned into my intuitive abilities so, I make decisions that feel aligned with my values and purpose, which has helped me stand out in an industry that often prioritizes hard data over gut instinct which I believe should not be mutually exclusive. This balance between logic and intuition is one of the reasons why I have been able to build strong, meaningful connections with my clients and audience.

This has allowed to tap into my creative side to create offers that appeal to my ideal audience which take me to the next phase.

3. I SERVED MY IDEAL AUDIENCE

In the beginning stages of my journey, I struggled with trying to be everything to everyone, but that approach left me feeling overwhelmed and ineffective. The turning point came when I took the time to define my ideal audience.

I asked myself: Who do I really want to help? Who would benefit the most from my skills, experience, and knowledge? The answer became clear, I wanted to serve aspiring creative entrepreneurs, specifically women who are looking to build thriving online businesses while staying true to themselves. These are women who want to leverage their creative talents to build something meaningful, but who may feel stuck or unsure of how to begin, once I identified this audience, everything shifted.

I began creating content, programs, and resources specifically tailored to their needs. I learned how to speak their language, addressing the struggles they face and the dreams they aspire to achieve. I wasn’t just providing information, I was building relationships and offering real value. When you are clear about who you are serving, you can create products and content that resonate deeply, which ultimately leads to better engagement and stronger results.

4. I LEANED INTO MY UNIQUE VOICE AND COMMUNICATION STYLE

I believe that God endows us all with gifts and styles that we need to thrive and build in our respective journeys. Finding my voice was another significant milestone in my journey, as someone who loves storytelling, I always felt that my communication style was an asset, but it took me a while to really own it. In the early stages of blogging and creating content, I was unsure if my voice was “right” for my audience. I tried to mimic what I saw from others in the industry, thinking that would help me fit in.

But it wasn’t until I embraced my unique voice and communication style that I truly began to thrive. I realized that the most valuable thing I could bring to the table was me—my perspective, my experience, and my way of communicating. Through blogging and podcasting, I have been able to express myself authentically and connect with my audience on a deeper level. These platforms have allowed me to share my expertise in a way that feels genuine, and in doing so, I am building a loyal community of creative entrepreneurs who resonate with my message.

5. I LISTED MY CORE COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

Having over 17 years of experience in various fields, e-Commerce, content marketing, project management, human resources, and more; has given me a wide range of skills. But with so many options, it can be easy to spread yourself too thin. To truly hone in on what I could offer, I did an extensive inventory of my skills. This process involved listing out everything I was good at, whether it was digital product creation, coaching, writing, or managing projects, and determining which of these skills were most marketable and in demand.

This inventory helped me to see where I could make the biggest impact, I realized that while I had a range of skills, there were a few key areas that stood out as both my strongest and most marketable, e-Commerce coaching, digital offers, brand building, and content marketing. These were the skills I decided to focus on moving forward. I realized that if I wanted to grow and make a meaningful impact, I needed to focus on my core competencies. I needed to identify the skills and experiences that were not only my strongest but also the ones that aligned with my passions and my long-term vision. This is where building various digital offers came into play.

By focusing helping people in topics about on e-Commerce and startups, I could leverage my years of experience in business strategy, e-commerce business, and entrepreneurship to help others build successful online businesses. It allowed me to combine my love for creativity with my expertise in business development, which is exactly where I thrive. By doing this inventory, I also uncovered hidden talents and strengths that I hadn’t fully realized before. It allowed me to see how my various experiences across different fields could come together to form a cohesive and powerful skill set that is why I strongly recommend this exercise.

6. I IDENTIFIED MY MARKETABLE AND HIGH-INCOME SKILLS

After doing a skills inventory, it became clear that e-Commerce coaching was not only a high-income skill but also one that was in high demand. E-Commerce has exploded in recent years, and with more and more entrepreneurs looking to build online businesses, I saw an opportunity to position myself as a leader in this space. So as a trained and certified e-commerce business coach and an award-winning entrepreneur, I set out to share all that I have learned on my journey.

I dedicated myself to developing my expertise in e-Commerce further everything I have learned as a beauty entrepreneur, focusing on both the technical aspects, like setting up online stores and managing sales funnels and the creative side like product creation, branding and storytelling. By focusing on these high-income, marketable skills, I have been able to create a sustainable business model that allows me to help others while also reaching my financial goals.

7. I CREATED SCALABLE DIGITAL OFFERS

By focusing on my unique journey, I have been able to build a business that feels authentic and fulfilling.
